Dale Hunt and Doc Ray
Dale C. Hunt , PhD botanist and JD lawyer, has a strong foundation in plant science and patent law. He has spent his entire career helping clients protect and commercialize their proprietary plant varieties in the U.S. and over 20 foreign countries. Dale is now dedicated to helping Cannabis breeders protect intellectual property, legal Cannabis strains, products and businesses.
Doc Ray, heritage Cannabis breeder and outlaw cultivator, has been growing cannabis since 1970. He has been a part of the Cannabis community for the majority of his adult life and is on a mission to protect the legacy of California’s Emerald Triangle community and the unique genetics that have been developed here. High Times editor, Jon Cappetta just dubbed Doc as one of the “sweetest members of the Cannabis community”.
Together, Dale and Doc have joined forces to gather Emerald Triangle breeders together in an effort to help protect their work. This is Dale and Doc’s fourth annual breeders meeting and it is growing bigger every year with attendees and presenters. We are all excited to grow the community and protect our legacy.

1520-1720: Break into Discussions with individual speakers for 1 on 1 and small groups
1720-?: Wrap Up and Final Sesh

Farm to Family Ranch is a 160 acre spread, located just about 4 miles west of town right off the 20, with very easy access to the town of Willits for supplies. The gathering will be held at the pond site that is ready for camping with an outhouse and potable mountain spring water. Bring your bathing suit or birthday suit to enjoy a swim in the pond.
We ask that everyone walk as lightly as they can while they are here. Please do your part to pack out what you pack in. Bring your own reusable flatware, utensils, and cups to cut down on garbage.

Come early to Dale and Doc’s Breeder’s Gathering, and stay for the weekend. Book overnight stays for Friday, Saturday, &/or Sunday.
Space is limited – available on first come first served basis.
Camping is $20 per night.
